Aurora Youth Options is in the News!

May 03, 2012

Aurora Central High School presented Aurora Mental Health/Aurora Youth Options (AYO) a certificate for our outstanding partnership, during the 2011-12 school year.
This acknowledgment was presented to Ashlee Redman, AYO Youth Specialist, for her commitment to support students at Aurora Central. Two hundred thirty three of Aurora Centrals
2,291 students are involved with AYO. Ashlee has worked hard developing a strong relationship with the faculty, community liaison, and Aurora Central’s School Resource Officers. Ashlee meets with students, coordinates resources, is a member of the Community Partners group, and facilitates offering programs to enhance student development at the school. This year, Ashlee, along with two Denver School of Science and Technology Interns, partnered with Aurora Central and other members of the Community Partnership group in order to create a brochure which highlights all of the community agencies and programs that serve Aurora Central students and families. The brochure was completed in May 2012 and is now available to students and families in Aurora Central High School. Click here to see the brochure.
Congratulations Ashlee! Great job!
